Okay, so I have to tell you about this event I went to last night; the WindowsWear Summer Bash 2025 in collab with Visual Citi. Think: fashion insiders, jaw-dropping city views, and just the right amount of rooftop sparkle.

It all went down at the Simona Rooftop, and from the moment I stepped out of the elevator, it felt like I had walked into a Pinterest board come to life.

The guest list? Iconic. Teams from Dior and Ralph Lauren to Calvin Klein were in the building. It was one of those nights where you turn around and catch someone casually name-dropping a global window campaign like it’s no big deal (but it is). People were hyped but chill, dressed in their rooftop best, sipping cocktails, and talking about the wild future of retail like it was an aperitivo convo.

The rooftop was serving all the right things: soft summer air, cozy lounge chairs, string lights overhead, and this subtle breeze that made everyone’s outfit just flow. There was that golden NYC glow over the skyline that made every selfie hit. Plus, there were drinks (hello, rose), snacks, and a DJ who knew exactly what to play to keep the vibe just right; fun but not chaotic.

What made the night even better was how it wasn’t just a party, it was a celebration. Visual Citi was turning 20 (which is major), and you could feel the love and pride from their team. They were walking around, smiling, chatting, and soaking it all in. WindowsWear also gave a shoutout to some rising student creatives, which honestly made my inner college self a little emotional. It’s cool to see future stars getting their flowers now.

What I loved most was how laid-back everything felt. Sometimes these kinds of events can be all about the schmoozing and stiff convos — not this one. It felt real. People were actually connecting, laughing, swapping stories (and maybe a few LinkedIn), and just enjoying being in a space full of creative energy.

Left the night with a happy heart, a few new contacts, and about 37 photos I now have to decide between for Instagram.

Would I go again next year? In. A. Heartbeat.
